Refund & Cancellation Policy

yoganear.me is a marketplace that connects you with independent yoga studios, teachers, schools, and retreat organizers (the "studios"). When you book and pay through yoganear.me, your purchase is with the studio, not with yoganear.me. Refunds and cancellations are therefore governed by each studio’s own policy.
Each studio sets its own policy
Every studio publishes its own cancellation and refund terms. These are shown at checkout before you pay, so please review them carefully. They vary from studio to studio. For example, a studio may allow free cancellation up to a set number of hours before a class, workshop, or course begins.
Our role
yoganear.me facilitates payments on behalf of studios through our payment providers. We do not hold funds and do not issue refunds on our own behalf. Refund requests are directed to the relevant studio and are handled in line with that studio’s policy.
Memberships, passes, and session packs
As a general rule, memberships, class passes, and session packs are treated as non-refundable once purchased. A studio may still choose to refund them at its discretion or under its own policy, for example by ending a membership early and refunding the unused part, or refunding an unused pass or session pack. Any such refund is the studio’s decision.
Workshops, courses, and appointments
Bookings for workshops, courses, and individual appointments are more commonly refundable, subject to the studio’s cancellation policy, such as cancelling before a cutoff set by the studio. The terms that apply to your booking are shown at checkout.
How to cancel or request a refund
To cancel a booking or request a refund, first contact the studio directly using the details on its profile, or manage your booking from your account where that option is available. If you have already contacted the studio and your issue is still unresolved, email us at hello@whatevernear.me and we will help facilitate communication.
Chargebacks
Before starting a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider, please contact the studio first, and then us, so we can help resolve the issue. Unwarranted or abusive chargebacks may lead to restrictions on your account.
